My Friend Forced to Flee

Help Restore Pastor Cebo & His Family

We often read stories of pastors facing persecution—but everything changes when the story has a name, a voice, and children you’ve met. Just hours after he and his young family were chased from their home, my friend sent me a shaky WhatsApp message:

Please pray for us. We are trying to be strong.
— Pastor Cebo

They fled with almost nothing. Today, they are grateful simply to have a small rental where they can breathe and begin again. But “beginning again” looks very different for them than it does for us.

Meals are cooked on a single propane cylinder—three hours for one pot of food. Their children, ages three and five, sleep on the floor. Most of their belongings and furniture were lost or left behind in the rush to escape danger.

And yet, even in the middle of their lack, their hearts remain steady in their calling. They long to continue serving their community—not from a place of fear or scarcity, but from a place of overflow and we can help.

We have the chance to restore what was stolen.
A stove. A bed. Groceries. Clothing. Rent. Basic furniture.
Every gift, large or small, moves this family one step closer to stability, dignity, and hope.

If you feel led, would you help us encourage and rebuild this precious family as they continue the work God has entrusted to them?

Your generosity becomes part of their testimony. Your prayers become part of their strength.

Thank you for seeing them. Thank you for standing with them.
